There is only one picture in this gallery at the moment, but I plan to do a large series, something I've been promising myself for the last couple of years. The gallery is based on the '80s television series of the same name, much beloved by young girls at the time. I used to watch it with my daughter.
The premise involved a young woman named Jerrica Benton, who, with the help of a magical set of "Jem-star" earrings and a holographic computer named Synergy, transformed herself into a glamorous pop star named Jem. With her group, the Holograms, she joined battle against the Misfits, a group of "bad girl" singers who were intent upon knocking Jem and the Holograms off the throne of stardom. The styles were glitzy, over-the-top, '80s excess at their finest.
