A timeless urban legend is the cemetery statue that comes to life.
In Druid Ridge Cemetery, Maryland, there once stood a life-size bronze statue of indeterminate gender, a mourning,
robed figure. Eerie tales were told - one, that a young woman, on a dare, spent the night in the cemetery,
only to be found in the morning, dead in the lap of the statue, crushed by a superhuman grip.
It was said that the statue, which became known as Black Agnes, opened its eyes at night, and they glowed red.
Eventually, due to its notoriety, the statue was moved to an undisclosed site.
There is a lot more information about the statue on the Internet. I highly recommend the following site:
::In the Statue's Grip::
It does not load well in Firefox, but works beautifully in Internet Explorer.
